Comprehensive program. Our rehabilitation program is designed to help people of all ages who are experiencing difficulty with mobility, communication and self-care. We offer all the services you’d expect from a top physical rehabilitation center. We also offer specialty programs that are unique in our area, including lymphedema care, pediatric rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.

Experienced therapists. There’s no need to drive to Portland to get expert care. We have one of the largest and most experienced rehab staffs in our region. Our team's diverse range of knowledge allows us to match you with a therapist who has the most expertise in your particular issue.

Personalized attention. Our therapists will spend up to one hour (sometimes more) with you at every visit. They will work one-on-one with you, building a rapport that helps them understand your recovery goals, whether that’s getting you moving after an injury, helping your child with a speech disorder, or teaching skills you need to live safely and independently.

State-of-the-art technology and facilities. CMH's rehabilitation facilities include private treatment rooms and a new physical therapy gym equipped with everything you need to support your recovery and healing. Our advanced therapy technologies include virtual reality (VR) for physical, occupational and speech therapy. With VR, you engage in a 3-D world to help your brain relearn skills quickly. For instance, VR can help improve recovery for issues such as limited range of motion, thinking problems due to disease or injury, stroke disability, and chronic pain.

Collaborative approach. We work with your other medical providers and your family to give you the highest-quality care. We also partner with the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative to address challenges related to cancer or its treatments, such as lymphedema or trouble with speech or swallowing.

Inpatient physical, occupational and speech rehab

In addition to providing outpatient services, our physical, occupational and speech therapists are available to assist patients during a hospital stay.

Our therapists will work with your entire care team. Depending on your individual needs, our services might include helping you regain strength, showing you how to safely complete your daily activities, and ensuring that you have all the support and equipment you need at home.
